Visiting China is pretty safe, easy and affordable (after the flight). Not a great government but that is mostly a pain in the ass for the citizens.

I’ll be honest, Iran doesn’t seem to target military assets all that much. Or at least, the air defence is much better around those areas. Which isn’t crazy.

I really, really hope that one of them develops a higher heat tolerance and can pick up vaguely where we left off. Hopefully the ecosystem isn’t fucked enough to just kill everything.

Maybe it’s the app I’m viewing this through, but you could have flavored that image with a few more pixels, in my opinion.

I liken it to humanity devoting almost a third of our planetary output on perfecting the poison that will reduce everyone but the creator to useless, incompetent, stooges. This is obviously an incredible net good for the species as a whole. We should never stop this.

It has not been that way for that long though. They used to lose support if they openly killed people in the streets.

We have to try to transition back somehow. I’m thrilled to see this sort of thing. As capitalism collapses we will see it more and more I think.

I think you are underestimating the level of chaos and violence we are headed for. This is going to be much worse than Rome. We will be the barbarians at our own gates.

If that is all true and it’s a genuine change of heart, I would hug him and welcome as a friend. I hope it is. But it’s so easy to play pretend, and the dangers are very real.

How long do people think it will take for there to be shooting over this? Not everyone is going to just let people get disappeared in front of them without doing anything.

Which is why the entire system needs to be ripped out root and all.

That being said, it’s a risky gambit and doomed to failure and disaster if nothing is ready to pick up right afterwards.

So get planning everyone. We need a new system. We need details about who is doing what, why and how.

Absolutely. I was just talking about my daily life. I don’t give a shit if something gives me cancer or sterilizes me at this point. My body is so irrevocably fucked by pollution already, unless it kills me/debilitates me within the next 10 years, I don’t care. A shortening life span is meaningless to me.

This is just one more apocalypse to add to the pile. We are no more fucked that before we knew about this. Humanity can only die once.

A large part of the efficacy of vaccines comes from everyone around you also being mostly immune. If there are giant holes in the shield, everyone near those holes becomes more vulnerable. The vaccines can be overcome by the disease if enough viral load is present.

We learned a lot of lessons from the first one. Here’s hoping we don’t make the same mistakes.
