“AI” has been a very common and very old term used in video games to refer to NPCs that react to player behaviour. It’s also sometimes used to refer to bots that emulate player logic to play a game, such as in this CB video.

Honestly, this lawsuit is laughable. James Earl Jones himself allowed his voice to be used to train AI before his passing, and his family has given their blessing on this implementation in Fortnite.
Besides, it’s not like this Darth Vader AI is replacing any jobs; it’s a chat bot, capable of giving live responses to players across many live matches ongoing around the world. Unless it is feasible to hire a massive team of Darth Vader voice actors to be able to respond to player requests to “force choke me daddy Vader” live across hundreds of ongoing matches while staying completely in-character 24/7, their argument about Epic Games “replacing voice actors with AI” holds no water.
I agree with you, but only if everyone is paid a living wage, aka universal basic income.
you’re mixing up sex and gender.
sex is the genitals you are born with.
gender is a societal role, stuff like “males are supposed to be strong and emotionally distant” and “females are supposed to be beautiful and submissive to males”.
one does not necessarily have to lead into the other equivalent. why can’t men wear dresses and makeup? what makes something “boyish” or “girly”? why does a “male” or “female” label define what a person can and cannot do for the rest of their life? do they not get a say in what they want to be defined as?
the only, only useful thing about biological sex labels is for medical and sexual purposes, and yet we base almost everything else in life and society around it. that’s just an inefficient use of space on an ID card.
i mean, it’s just ads. you’re blowing this way out of proportion just because of some unintrusive ads.

i generally type in all lower case because it appears more casual, at least to me. it’s not exactly a rule i follow, so it’s never consistent, and i don’t mind capitalizing abbreviations and names and such anyways.
Splitgate 1 is Halo movement and gunplay + Portal.
Splitgate 2 is Apex Legends movement + Halo gunplay + Portal.
It feels really smooth, and the production quality is definitely higher, but somehow I prefer the simplicity of Splitgate 1.
