Use a custom DNS to block stuff like this. PiHole, nextdns, adguard etc.

Both uBlock Origin and my piHole are blocking prod.vodvideo.cbsnews.com (which is the video autoplaying). My browser (Librewolf) also blocks it - as blocked because the triggering iframe has the sandbox flag set.. Stuff like this always is down to your own set up.

I’m logged in on sh.itjust.works, I’m not logged in or have an account on lemmy.ml. If I want to interact with posts from lemmy.ml, I want to do so from my home instance of sh.itjust.works whre I’m logged in and have my main account.
